We regret to inform that all servers we currently own are currently under the control of the law enforcement agencies as a security breach in the datacenter, all servers during the security breach were compromised in some way and have now been disconnected for the mean time.
As thousands of pounds worth of damage has occurred the police have been informed and have asked to keep each server under quarantine so an investigation can get underway.
We have been told that the datacenter is doing all they can to fix the problem and apologise greatly for the downtime that has occurred during this security breach.

Again we regret to say that there is nothing we can do during this time to make the investigation go any quicker and i apologise on behalf of all the staff from Razor Hosting.

We can say that once the servers has been resumed you will get full access once again, please also note if you wish to continue hosting with us then you will be credited a months free hosting on your billing account.

Also with the situation, we understand that noone even ourselves could access the client area which was hosted on a different server but in the same datacenter, we have now made some huge changed to our support / billing area. First of all we have purchased www.razor-support.co.uk, which will hold the support / billing area, this site we have moved onto our older server and it will be staying there, this is to make sure that if such services goes down again then you will be able to contact us and vice versus.

During this time we have temporarily uploaded our website onto the backup server, once the servers are back up we will move the main website back over so all domains pointing to our nameservers will be working again.

Can i retrieve my server files:

No. The servers are currently not connected to the internet so no one not even us have been able to retrieve and files.

 

Can you host me on another server:

For the mean time if you are a shared hosting client and wish to have a temp account setup, please note it will have nothing from your original account on it, then please contact our support team. This is a good method if you need your email address from your domain name.

 

How long will they be down for:

At the moment we do not know and apologise greatly.
